Corralejo & Bärenjäger Host Honey-Inspired Evening

In the middle of Hollywood, under the neon buzz and palm-lined streets, Corralejo Tequila and Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur hosted a honey-inspired takeover at La Nena Cantina with entertaining expert Paul Zahn leading the charge.

Zahn curated the evening like a playlist — cocktails, food, and conversation all riffing on tequila, honey, and coastal Mexican rhythm. From first sip to last bite, spirits set the tone, cocktails carried the mood, and food fell perfectly into place.

The Cocktail That Stole the Night

Every good night out needs a signature drink, and here it came in a salt-rimmed glass: the Pomegranate Honey Margarita. Built on the backbone of Corralejo Reposado Tequila, layered with fresh lime juice, pomegranate syrup, and the golden sweetness of Bärenjäger, it was both vibrant and grounded.

Sweet, tart, balanced — a reminder that tequila doesn’t need to shout to make an impression. It can whisper, sing, and still steal the room. Available only through November 1st, it felt less like a menu item and more like a fleeting secret worth chasing.

Honey in Every Bite

Spirits led the way, and the kitchen followed with plates that turned honey into the common thread. The Vegano Baja Taco swapped fish for crisp, golden cauliflower, paired with cabbage and a honey chipotle sauce that lingered just long enough to send you back to your drink.

The Salmon Tropical arrived grilled and glazed with honey, mango, and strawberry — bright, layered, like a postcard from the coast. And the Grilled Shrimp Tostada Salad tied it all together: charred shrimp over fresh greens, finished with a honey vinaigrette kissed with habanero heat. Sweet, spicy, refreshing — the kind of dish that makes sense only after you’ve tasted it.

Spirits as the Thread

What made the evening perfect wasn’t spectacle or gimmickry, but how Corralejo and Bärenjäger shaped every detail. The tequila and honey weren’t afterthoughts; they were the rhythm of the night, the reason food and drink connected so effortlessly. Entertaining expert Paul Zahn built the menu like a playlist, with cocktails as the headliners and dishes as perfect harmonies.

If you were there, you didn’t just eat tacos or drink tequila—you took part in a honey-soaked, tequila-fueled evening that reminded everyone why great spirits deserve the spotlight.
